Features
The Veterinary Series Mastiff model surgical lamp was born out of the needs of the veterinary world to operate in a full light condition. This means having a fully illuminated operating table. With the Mastiff lamp, this condition has been successfully met thanks to RIMSA’s patented lighting technology. In fact, the Mastiff uses 2R technology, thanks to which glare has been completely eliminated. This technology works by double reflection optical collimation with the rays coming from the LEDs. The rays are directed through an aspherical lens and then projected onto two elliptical mirrors. Finally, they are filtered by a screen with controlled roughness. At the same time, the reflector allows the maximum possible illumination beam. The reflector dome is designed and engineered to provide a comfortable grip for the operator during operation. The lamp can be activated and adjusted via the special membrane on one side of the reflector or the convenient sterilizable handle.
